Companies don’t hire people without first checking their references. You shouldn’t work with someone without checking his or her references either.

When I began the process of looking to buy a condo, I was very determined to
learn all I could about the real estate game. I read a few books, scanned the
MLS website for hours at a time month after month, and went to some open
houses. I learned a lot but I also got very frustrated- usually by the agents
themselves.
